Written for his daughter Evie, the song began as a private expression of grief rather than a planned release. Blending guitar-led blues-rock with country-rooted storytelling, it explores love, grief and the enduring bond between a parent and child.

Dean Ray is an Australian singer-songwriter known for raw vocals, honest storytelling and emotionally grounded live performances.
